An exquisite creamware 'zodiac' plate produced by Scott (1840-1897), featuring a charming pink transfer design of a man holding a goblet, seated in a winter setting with a turkey in the background. The plate is adorned with a delicate molded daisy border and is believed to have been produced around 1840.
An ideal gift for a December birthday, or as part of a Christmas display.
Good antique condition. One small shallow chip underneath. Discolouration and crazing all over. Please see photographs.
