A very large early 19th century hand painted pearlware mug with floral bouquets on either side and floral garlands around the rim of the mug.
Some occasional paint loss, all over wear and hairline cracks as photographed. One shallow chip to the inner rim.
I have never seen a mug like this! Considering it is around 200 years old, it has survived very well.
A gorgeous display piece in its own right, great as a pen/paintbrush pot, or could be used as a vase by placing a small tumbler of water inside.
Measures approx. 13.5cm x 13.5cm
