Antique Welsh Spongeware Rose Pattern Mug

Beautiful antique spongeware mug in a lovely tactile shape with rose pattern around the outside. 

Heavily crazed and discoloured with hairline cracks and some small chips and nibbles to rim. Evidence of glazing misfire inside. Displays beautifully, particularly along with other spongeware. Condition consistent with age, please see photographs. 

Measures approx. 10cm high x 18.5cm across
