Antique Pink ‘Farmers’ Arms’ Tankard Mug

A very rare and collectible ‘Farmers Arms’ tankard in an unusual salmon pink with gilt band around the rim. One side of the mug shows a farming scene with horses while the other side shows the ‘Success to the farmer’ poem, surrounded by an illustration of farming tools and ears of corn.

Please see photos for exact condition. One side of the mug has some large cracks running down from the rim which look to have been historically repaired. One of the cracks runs down into the base of the mug. There are several other hairline cracks running down from the rim. All over crazing and significant discolouration inside the mug. Some loss of glazing to the handle. Some gilt loss around the rim. Some shallow nibbles to the base of the mug.
