Deep Blue Georgian Enamel Painted Floral Hydra Jug

A very rare early 19th century hydra jug with deep blue glaze and hand painted enamel flower decoration, circa 1820. Octagonal body with serpant handle. 

Excellent antique condition. Some light wear to the gilt on the rim and the handle. No cracks or chips. Watertight.

Measures approx. 16cm high x 16cm from spout to handle
