19th Century Blue Calico Transferware Loving Cup

A stunning double handled Victorian tankard, heavily transferred in what was the original ‘blue calico’ pattern. Very good condition. Some surface crazing, discolouration and light wear, as photographed. One small manufacturing crack to the exterior surface. 

Although the tankard shows no major visible faults, please note that due to its age, the material has become porous and is no longer watertight. Placing a small tumbler of water inside will allow it to be used for displaying fresh flowers. 

Measures approx. 13.5cm high x 13cm diameter (not including handles)
